Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993 and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name has been recognized for pioneering the study of eyewitness testimony and child witnesses in the legal setting. Prof. Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and has been awarded many international and national prizes. She consults with numerous governments and agencies across the world regarding policies as well as the study of child abuse in the justice system. She works as a Consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She holds memberships in many professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
