Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Anna Gunn is a US actress. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her hand at TV and films. Anna got her first major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. Anna continued to be guest stars on a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's personal life.
